If You Want the Rainbow, Welcome the Rain:
A Memoir of Grief & Recovery
by AnnE O'Neil
Published by Balboa Press (a division of Hay House), The back cover of If You Want the Rainbow, Welcome the Rain reads:Sufi poet Ghalib said, “Held back, unvoiced, grief bruises the heart.” This is the story of a heart bruised for many years and the hurt around that. After her father dies of liver cancer, the author finally awakens and steps into a spiritual (and sober) life, including healing – from grief, from despair, from decades of inauthentic living. This hopeful story illustrates what is possible when grief is honored and transcended.
What readers are saying:
“I finished your book last night…read it in two nights. It would have been one, if I didn’t have to work the next day. It was so moving, so beautiful, so vulnerable, so healing…..thank you for being willing to share your journey.” – KO, New York
Invitations to A Soulful Life
(A WORK IN PROGRESS)
The notion of living a soulful life – even the specifics of these invitations – have been with me for several years now. They came to me when I was a student in a spiritual counseling training program. A number of smaller invitations had originally come to me as “invitations of spiritual counseling.” Over time, I noticed how many of these fit together into these larger invitations and really provided the key to living a soulful life.
